Bismillaah-ir-Rahmaan-ir-Raheem

Among the reprehensible acts a person arriving in the masjid may commit on the of Jumu'ah, is to come late and start forcing and clearing one's way to the frontal rows even if toes are to be stepped or people's necks be broken.

The Messenger of Allaah - sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam - forbade the practice. He said:

من لغا أو تخطى كانت له ظهراً

'Whoever  plays foul or forces his way through the lines will have a reward of Zhuhr Prayer.'
(Recorded by Ibn Khuzaimah in his Saheeh so also Abu Daawud in his Sunan. The chain is authentic).
