Also capturing one of the messages the Opening Surah contains, Al-Imaam Ibn Al-Qayyim Al-Jawziyyah, rahimahullah, said it establishes the fact that Allaah the Mighty Lord out of His Bounties sent Messengers to His creation to explain His Deen to them.
He said the Name of Allaah, 'Ar-Rahmaan' denotes this. He said it is from Rahmah of Allaah that He sent Prophet Muhammad to the mankind (and jinkind).
He said the best favour Allaah could bestow on any of His slaves is to guide such to Islam, and that the means for a slave to know this Guidance, even if he were given the best of the intellect, is through the Messengers of Allaah.
Therefore that those who possess the sound intellect shouid use it to know Allaah via His Messengers and the Books He revealed.
That denying the Messengership of Muhammad - sallallahu alayhi - is denying the Existence and Divinity of Allaah.
That if a slave really wants to worship Allaah which must include being grateful to Him, loving Him and fearing Him, then that can only be via what He sent to His Messenger - Muhammad, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
