Ramadan Day Eleven

After one becomes a Muslim or one is aware one is born as a Muslim, the most needful thing for that Muslim is a constant act of beseeching Allaah with all sense of humbleness for guidance.

The worst thing that can happen to someone that calls himself a Muslim is to be stripped of guidance.

When you are aware you are a Muslim, the devil comes around to make you lose that sense.

Therefore a Muslim must always look up to Allaah for guidance.

It is for this reason Allaah the Mighty Lord taught us how to pray to Him for guidance in the Opening Chapter.

He taught us to first praise and exalt Him, then that we should affirm is Oneness and the fact that we are nothing but slaves before Him.

These two precursors (waseelataan): praising and extolling Him via His Beautiful Names and Lofty Attributes, and affirming His Oneness and our servitude to Him, are very essential before we ask Him for guidance.

Those Two Precursors will make the supplication granted.

(Always apply that to all the supplications you make to Allaah, the Mighty Lord).

There are two other precursors mentioned in two hadeeth that support the earlier two precursors. We will treat that tomorrow Inshaa Allaah.
