The Hopelessness of 'Hope of the Ummah'

I wrote about ten years ago that if the Muslim Students' Society of Nigeria (MSSN) is the 'Hope of the Ummah', then the Ummah as a whole is hopeless.

May Allaah save the Ummah from that.

Our hope lies in obedience to the Qur'aan and the Sunnah according to the understanding of the Salaf.

There is no hope in prioritizing the mundane knowledge over the Hereafter.

There is no hope in going to democratic politics in quest for leadership.

There is no hope in brazen disobedience to the commands of the Shareeah such as taking women on a journey without their mahaarim.

There is no hope in hating the scholars of Sunnah simply because they don't belong to us.

What really is your hope, MSSN?

You still have time to change your ways. Come to the real Sunnah.

Apologies to those slighted by this, the truth is sometimes hurtful.

Let's continue our normal reminders.
