The other body of proof is my progeny. The Gentle and All-Knowing Lord has told me that the two will not separate from each other until they both come to the Pond; that was what I asked from My Lord for both; therefore do not go ahead of them lest you get destroyed, and do not become lax towards them lest you get destroyed also. 27. 'Indeed this is my brother, regent and successor after me; listen to him and obey him.' [This hadith is falsehood context and chain wise; as for its falsity chain wise, there is Abdul-Gaffaar bn Al-Qaasim in it: Al-Imaam Adh-Dhahabee said about him: Abu Maryam Al-Ansaaree is a Raafidee, he is not trustworthy. Alee bn Al-Madeenee said: He used to fabricate narrations.' See Meezaan Al-I'tidaal: (2/640)].

28. 'Indeed my regent and place of secret is Alee bn Abee Taalib. The best I can leave after me that will fulfill my promise and pay my debt is Alee bn Abee Taalib.' Al-Haythamee reports it in Maj'mauz-Zawaaid (9/141); he attributed it to At-Tabaraanee and said: There is Naasih bn Abdllah in the chain; he is an abandoned narrator.

29. 'I am a house of wisdom Alee is its door.' At-Tirmidhee reports it so also Abu Nuaym who remained silent on At-Tirmidhee's comment on the hadith that it is 'Ghareeb wa Munkar [strange and reprehensible] and we do not know this hadith from any of the trustworthy narrators who reported it from Shareek ' [number 3723]. Ibn Al-Jawzee said: 'This hadith is a fabrication;' see Mishkaat Al-Masaabeeh (3/1777). Ibn Al-Jawzee ruled that it is a lie (upon the Messenger of Allaah (sallalaahu alayhi wa sallam)); (see Al-Mauduaat 1/349).

30. 'You, O Alee, and your party, "they are the best of creatures." [Al-Bayyinah: 7].' There is Abul-Jaaruud in the chain, he is Ziyaad bn Al-Mundhir Al-Kuufee; Al-Haafidh ibn Hajar said about him: A Raafidee declared as a liar by Yahyaa bn Ma'een (see At-Taqreeb 2101).

31. 'Allaah revealed three things to me as regard Alee: That he is the leader of the believers, the leader of the pious ones, commander of those whose faces will shine.' Al-Haafidh said: Al-Haakim said in Al-Manaaqib: Its chain is authentic; I (Ibn Hajar) however say its chain is rather very weak and it is also broken.' See It-Tihaaful-Maharah (1/344); meaning that Umar bn al-Husayn Al-Uqaylee and his teacher, Yahyaa bn Al-Ulaa Ar-Raazee are both unreliable in fact he (Ibn Hajar) made it clear that the hadith is a fabrication.

32. 'Bravo to you, O Alee! You have become our defender and defender of all believing male and female.' There is Alee bn Zayd bn Jud'aan in the chain; Ibn Al-Jauzjaanee said about him: 'He is extremely weak in hadith;' see Ash-Shajarah fee Ahwaalir-Rijaal (p.194). Ibn Al-Jauzee said in Al-Ilal Al-Mutanaahiyyah fee Al-Ahadeeth Al-Waahiyah (1/226): 'This hadith is not sufficient for proof.' The people over him then to Abu Hurairah are all weak. Al-Bazzaar said: 'A number of people of knowledge talked about him.' See Kashf Al-As'taar (490). Ad-Daaruqutnee said: 'It is not strong;' see Sunan Ad-Daaruqutnee (1/103).

33. 'May Allaah be merciful to Alee, O Allaah make the truth move with him as he moves.' Al-Haakim reported it and said: 'It is authentic based on the conditions of the two Shaykhs (meaning Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim)' (see Al-Mustadrak 3/120); there is however Al-Mukhtaar bn Naafi At-Tameemee in the chain. Adh-Dhahabee said in a rejoinder to Al-Haakim: 'Al-Mukhtaar is fallen.' Al-Haafidh said: 'Al-Mukhtaar is weak.' See At-Taqreeb (6522).

34. 'Alee is my brother in this world and the hereafter.' [The hadith is weak; see As-Silisilah Ad-Daeefah of Al-Imaam Al-Albanee (number 3801).

35. 'Alee is a door of forgiveness whoever enters it is secure.' The hadith is a fabrication; there is Husayn Al-Alash'qar in the chain. Al-Bukhaaree said: There is a reservation for it (see At-Taareekh Al-Kabeer 2/2862), and he said: He has some reprehensible narrations with him (see At-Taareekh As-Sagheer 2/319), see also As-Silisilah Ad-Daeefah of Al-Imaam Al-Albanee (number 3913).

36. 'Alee is the best of creatures; whoever disputes this is an unbeliever.' The statement is a fabrication; Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajar said: 'Ibn Adiyy reported it in paths all of which are weak.' See Tasdeed Al-Qaus (3/89). Adh-Dhahabee said: 'This hadith is reprehensible.' He also described it as being a clear falsehood. See Meezaanul-I'tidaal (1/521) and Ibn Al-Jawzee in Al-Mauduaat (1/348).

At-Tabaraanee reported it in Al-Kabeer (3/37), so also Al-Haythamee (9/168), there is Abdullah bn Daahir and Al-Hasan bn Abee Ja'far in its chain; the duo are not reliable. That is what Al-Haythamee said.

39. 'Whoever loves that he lives the like of my life and dies the like of my death, and stays in the everlasting garden which my Lord, the Mighty and Most Sublime, has promised me and planted its trees; such should support Alee bn Abee Taalib.' Al-Haakim graded it as authentic (3/128), Adh-Dhahabee refuted him because Al-Qaasim is in the chain; he and his teacher are both unreliable. The teacher is Yahya bn Al-Aliyy Al-Aslamiyy. Al-Haafidh said in At-Taqreeb (7677): He is a Shiite and is weak. Though Al-Haafidh made a mistake in referring to him as Al-Mahaaribee for he is Al-Aslamee. One Abdul-Husayn made frantic and repugnant efforts to reverse what has been said about the man alas it was unsuccessful.

40. 'Allaah never put anything in my heart except that He put it in Alee's heart.' The hadith is a fabrication; see Al-Mauduaat (1/131) and Usus At-Taalib (1262).

41. 'Your lover is my lover and my lover is Allaah's lover; your hater is my hater and my hater is Allaah's hater.' Al-Haafidh: Ibn Adiyy reported it and it is a falsehood. See Lisaanul-Meezaan (2/109).

42. 'O Alee, take glad tidings for you, your comrades and party will be in Jannah. O Alee have you observed Asr Prayer?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'O Allh, indeed You know that he is under Your service and service of Your Messenger, make the sun come back for him.' He said: 'The sun was brought back for him, Alee then observed his prayer then the sun went back to set!'
