Dr Faadil Al-Imaam is one of the gems of Sunnah in this region. He is not perfect just as others like him, so labouring to throw him away is an exercise in futility, Inshaa Allaah.
Yes he refuted Mufti Tableegh and was harsh on the fellow at Agege. So if he now falls into an error (which any scholar or student-of-knowledge can fall into) you will treat that error like that of the one Mufti Tableegh and the fellow at Agege fell into?
Does that make any sense?
One of the basic things many of you from that clique have repeatedly failed to learn is how to treat the errors of ahlu Sunnah from errors of ahlu bid'ah, especially the errors of scholars of Sunnah. The difference between you and the Pristine Guys is just a thin line. Were the boys not your goons before? Were they not making your the standard of Salafiyyah in this region before?
You really need a great time to sit to learn this.
And did you say the person you sat before for two years cannot be regarded as your teacher? Yet you are angry that some young folks do not call you and your comrades Shaykh (which in reality you and many of us are not).
Brother, that is a kufr ni'mah, asgar though. Please be grateful to your teacher. You are free to disagree with your teacher but not that you denying him being your teacher. Allaah is not pleased with the ungrateful elements.
Please we are in Ramadan, there is no time for akdh wa radd. This should be a time to reflect on our individual and communal spiritual failings.
