The Claim That Juhayman Was A Student of Bn Baz
[A Must Read]

Praise be to Allah the Lord of the worlds and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the noble Prophet Muhammad and his household and Companions all together.

To proceed:

The claim that Juhayman was a student of ibn Baz implies that he learnt his terrorist acts from his books or lectures; hence we are requesting from you to provide us with the names of the books or audios of ibn Baz calling to revolt against the ruler; secondly who among the notable students of Ibn Baaz recognized Juhayman as one of the students of Ibn Baaz? is it al-Uthaymin ? al-Fawzan, ?Abdul Muhsin al-Abbaad ? Who among the notable students of Ibn Baaz said this ? If you can not provide us with evidence from the works of Ibn Baaz himself and there is no any notable scholar from the students of Ibn Baaz who recognizes this dissident as a student of Ibn Baaz, then you and your source are inveterate liars.

Ibn Baaz was known for his call to obedience to the rulers when they order us to good and to be patient with the rulers when they are unjust to us; and this agrees with the ahadith of the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

The incontrovertible truth is that Juhayman was the product of books such as the “Milestones”, “In the Shade of Quran” both by Sayyid Qutb; likewise “the Islamic Government” by al-Khumayni, and works of al-Maududi , the great caller to political islam; The book “ ” نظرية الإسلام السياسية by al-Maududi inspired a lot of youths in the Muslim world and geared them towards political Islam; the works of Muhammad Qutb such “جاهلية القرن العشرين “ هل نحن مسلمون “ and together with those of his brother inspired the formation of the Fighting Vanguard by Marwan Hadid in Syria which later led this group to clash with Syrian Authority in 1982,in which a lot of souls were lost (The Hama Masaccre). The revolution led by alKhumayni against the Shah government in Iran was also incited by the works of Sayyid Qutb. These are works inciting the youths against the governments which is contrary to the teachings of the Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wasallam,.

O Abu Mazidah, it is a great injustice on your part to ascribe Juhayman to Ibn Baaz and not to these evil scholars of Brotherhood and al-Jamaa’ al-islamiyyah of al-Mawdudi who also approved and commended the so called “Islamic Revolution of Iran .

The book “جماعة واحدة لا جماعات “ written by shaikh Rabee al-Madkhali was a refutation of these groups trying to break the ummah by opposing the government in power; this is the right position as it agrees with the saying of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam: “ من جاءكم وأمركم جميع يريد أن يفرق جماعتكم فاقتلوه كائنا من كان “ meaning “ whoever rises up against you (government) wanting to break your jamaa kill him irrespective of who he may be.“

Abu Mazidah! My advice for you is to sit down and learn the methodology of the Prophet in terms of relating with authorities and shun this method of the khawarij employed by the Brotherhood and its offshoots and stop busying the people with politics and condemnation of the rulers; I would recommend you read “ كتاب الإمارة “ in Sahih Muslim and “ كتاب الأحكام “ in Sahih al-Bukhari and the books of Sunan, you will understand Islam better.
