We just have to be careful always, we can still have the left-over of Jaahiliyyah in us.
The Messenger of Allaah (ï·º) said to Abu Dharr when the latter called Bilaal (may Allaah be pleased with both) in an unprintable name:
إنك امْرÙؤٌ Ùيك جاهلية
'You are someone with (a trace of) Jaahiliyyah in him.'
(Saheeh Jaami: 7822).
Exhibiting some of the traces of our past misdeeds, such as indiscriminate Tabdee, is one of those.
So let always watch out to free ourselves from those traces of Jaahiliyyah; they are many.
May Allaah grant us safety.
