In the Name of Allaah the Mighty Lord Who has made trading permissible and forbidden dealing in usury. I testify that there is none worthy of worship beside Him and that Muhammad is His Slave and Messenger.
After that, We welcome you to the trading section of the site. The section is built on a form of permissible trade in Islaam. Thus all transactions that are alien to the Islamic principles of trading will not be welcomed here.
Basically the reigning principle of Islamic trade we will use here is As-Salam which is the act of a seller selling a goods to a prospective buyer by description while the latter pays before delivery by the former.
The proof for that in the Sharee’ah is the Statement of Allaah, [the interpretation of the meanings] ‘O you who believe, when you lend one another [money or items] for an appointed time, put it into writing…’ [Baqarah: 282].
Abdullaah b. Abbaas said: ‘I testify that a trade whose delivery of goods is suspended till an appointed time is made permissible by Allaah in His Book, and He allows it.’ then he cited the Verse earlier quoted. Al-Imaam Al-Albaanee graded the report from Ibn Abbaas as saheeh in al-Ir’waah [1369].
Ibn Abbaas also reported from the Messenger of Allaah that he said when he arrived in Madeenah and met the people making advance payment regarding dates to be delivered after two or three years, ‘Whoever makes an advance payment regarding anything, let it be with regard to a well-known kilo and measures for an appointed time.’ The hadeeth was recorded by al-Bukhaaree and Muslim.
