Bismillaahir-Rahmaanir-Raheem

We took off around 3.30pm. The journey to the Shaykh's town would cost an average one and a half hours. But we had to rush up, so as to meet the first class after Asr - Al-Qawaneen Al-Fiq'hiyyah. I drove. It was between 120 and 140km/hr, along the dangerous bends. One of us tried to revise his lessons but alas the speed and the sudden jamming of the break. We arrived the Shaykh's residence around 5p.m. We met some Tulaab around the mosque who quickly told us the Shaykh was busy hence the after Asr Class was put off. The Tulaab weren't sure whether the after Maghrib Class - which is our main class, would take place. The other Tulaab left remaining the visiting ones.

We hung around till Maghrib. Expectedly the Shaykh came out for Prayer. After the Prayer, he turned to us and said in plain Arabic: 'Oh sorry, you people were not told I am a bit busy today. I am sorry.' And he stood and left. Immediately some of us began to invoke Allaah's blessings for the Shaykh, and he was saying Aameen as he was walking away. By Allaah, we were pleased because we knew there was wisdom in that itself. May Allaah safeguard our Shaykh, Duktoor Raajee Sharaf, and our other mashaayikh. Aameen.
