All praise to Allaah, there is none worthy of worship but Him and Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.
Below are some ten pieces of advice that can be helpful when you see some Muslims around you getting themselves involved in wranglings about the matters of the Deen whereby they disparage and assassinate one another's character.
One, stay away from all spots of Fitnah (in this context, where people drag manhaj issues without any direction) no matter what.
Two, always have good thoughts about all the scholars of Sunnah (of course, you know scholars that call to ikhwaaniyyah, surooriyah, etc, are not reputable).
Three, go and know that there is no scholar of Sunnah, no matter his status, that is immune from errors (in whichever way) and never follow any scholar of Sunnah on any proven and clear error be it in aqeedah, manhaj, sulook, etc. You must avoid suspicions though.
Four, always stay clear of issues between the scholars of Sunnah. Scholars would have issues among themselves based on their perspectives of religious matters.
Five, always seek to know the truth in issues that arise between the scholars. If you can't comprehend any of the issues, stay clear and stay where you know.
Six, get yourself a knowledge preoccupation namely memorizing the Qur'aan, hadeeth, learning Arabic, etc. Don't mind those who say you can't get teachers that can teach you these subjects around.
Seven, if you can quit the social media especially the Facebook, the better. Get yourself a madrasah of Sunnah (whose teachers will not get you involved in these matters) to enrol. You will not in any way suffer if you are not on any social media platform.
Eighth, always pray for all the scholars of Sunnah (scholars as earlier explained) that Allaah should safeguard all of them from evil.
Nine, always remember the brothers enmeshed in the milieu in your supplications. They are in a serious predicament. It is a serious affliction upon them, may Allaah heal them.
Ten, always resist the urge to join in the fray. Don't allow anyone to drag you into it.
Baarakallaahu feekum.
