The blatant takfeer by that Onilali fellow - whether now deleted or not - is a dangerous pointer to what Shaykh Murtala Alade Adedokun is warning from. That you disagree with a position that has a lot of ihtimalaat with scholars such that you rush to make takfeer of your mukhaalif is what every Sunnah caller must warn from. That was what Jabata was fought for.
(The silence from those whom Onilali is learning from speaks volumes, and it sends that bad signal we have been trying to disabuse our mind on).
To those of you that might still harbour it that whoever has not declared a kaafir a kaafir is a kaafir may end up declaring yourself a kaafir one day when the shirkiyaat of your own parents and relations (which for now you have been excusing them for their ignorance) are brought to the fore. Or have you declared your fathers and brothers at home as kuffar for their shirkiyaat which they have not repented from? Let us know.
In issues like this, we need patience as we weigh scholars' positions in the light of established proofs. We don't need to rush. We should learn to do itihaam of our aaraa.
Apologies for using a number of transliterated Arabic terms and phrases, I did it on purpose, for the desired target.
I seek Allaah's pardon for whatever error in this post.
