Sahl bn Sa'd as Saa'idee (radhiyal Laahu 'anh) narrated:

Jubril ('alayhis Salaam) came to the Prophet (salla Laahu 'alayhi wasallam) and said:

"O Muhammad! Live as long as you wish, you will surely die, engage in whatever action you desire, you shall be rewarded accordingly, love whomever you wish, you shall depart eventually. Know that the dignity of a man lies in his standing in prayer in the night while he remains dignified when he does not ask from people."
