Abu Sa’eed al Khudri (radhiyalLaahu 'anh) narrated: “My wife sent me to the Messenger of Allaah (sallalLaahu 'alayhi wasallam) to demand for food. I got to the Messenger while making Khutbah and heard him saying:
“Whoever perseveres, Allaah will grant him perseverance, whoever avoids making demands, Allaah will suffice him and whoever acts chaste, Allaah will make him chaste.
No slave is given a provision as expanse for him as patience.”
