Imaam Shaqeeq al-Balkhee (d. 194H) rahimahul Laah said:
" The signs of a sincere repentance are:
????Weeping over past sins,
????Fear of falling into the sin (in the future),
????Keeping distance from evil companions and
????Keeping the company of the righteous. "
