Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
In a time of profound and uncontrollable commotion and tribulation; when Muslims do not see eye to eye, when friends are actually enemies and enemies are lurking behind to maim and kill. May Allaah save us from such a turbulence, this is one of the advices from a past pious personality, al-Imaam al-Fudayl bn ‘Iyaad - rahimahullaah:
ÙƒÙÙ‰ بالله Ù…Øبا ØŒ وبالقرآن مؤنسا ØŒ وبالموت واعظا اتخذ الله صاØبا وذر الناس جانبا
‘Allaah suffices as a Lover, Qur’aan as a partner, death as admonition. Take Allaah as a Friend and stay away from the people.’
