قَالَ ØÙذَيْÙَة٠بْن٠الْيَمَان٠قÙلْت٠يَا رَسÙولَ اللَّه٠إÙنَّا ÙƒÙنَّا بÙشَرّ٠Ùَجَاءَ اللَّه٠بÙخَيْر٠ÙÙŽÙ†ÙŽØْن٠ÙÙيه٠Ùَهَلْ Ù…Ùنْ وَرَاء٠هَذَا الْخَيْر٠شَرٌّ قَالَ نَعَمْ â€.†قÙلْت٠هَلْ وَرَاءَ Ø°ÙŽÙ„ÙÙƒÙŽ الشَّرّ٠خَيْرٌ قَالَ â€"†نَعَمْ â€"†â€.†قÙلْت٠Ùَهَلْ وَرَاءَ Ø°ÙŽÙ„ÙÙƒÙŽ الْخَيْر٠شَرٌّ قَالَ â€"†نَعَمْ â€"†â€.†قÙلْت٠كَيْÙÙŽ قَالَ â€"†يَكÙون٠بَعْدÙÙŠ أَئÙمَّةٌ لاَ يَهْتَدÙونَ بÙÙ‡Ùدَاىَ وَلاَ يَسْتَنّÙونَ بÙسÙنَّتÙÙŠ وَسَيَقÙوم٠ÙÙيهÙمْ رÙجَالٌ Ù‚ÙÙ„ÙوبÙÙ‡Ùمْ Ù‚ÙÙ„Ùوب٠الشَّيَاطÙين٠ÙÙÙŠ جÙثْمَان٠إÙنْس٠â€"†â€.†قَالَ Ù‚Ùلْت٠كَيْÙÙŽ أَصْنَع٠يَا رَسÙولَ اللَّه٠إÙنْ أَدْرَكْت٠ذَلÙÙƒÙŽ قَالَ â€"†تَسْمَع٠وَتÙØ·Ùيع٠لÙلأَمÙير٠وَإÙنْ ضÙرÙبَ ظَهْرÙÙƒÙŽ ÙˆÙŽØ£ÙØ®ÙØ°ÙŽ مَالÙÙƒÙŽ Ùَاسْمَعْ ÙˆÙŽØ£ÙŽØ·Ùعْ â€"†رواه مسلم ( ١٨٤٧ ).
On the authority of Hudhaifah bn Al-Yamaan (radhiyal Laahu 'anh) who said:
O Messenger of Allah, no doubt, we had an evil time (i. e. the days of Jahiliyya or ignorance) and Allah brought us a good time (i. e. Islamic period) through which we are now living Will there be a bad time after this good time?
He (the Prophet) said: Yes.
I said: Will there be a good time after this bad time?
He said: Yes.
I said: Will there be a bad time after good time?
He said: Yes.
I said: How?
Whereupon he said: ' There will be leaders who will not be led by my guidance and who will not adopt my ways? There will be among them men who will have the hearts of devils in the bodies of human beings.'
I said: What should I do. Messenger of Allah, if I (happen) to live in that time?
He replied: 'You should listen to the Amir and carry out his orders; even if your back is flogged and your wealth is snatched, you should listen and obey '.
