Trying to smuggle in Baba Adama into the fold of Sunnah is a great summersault in the understanding of the Sunnah in Yorùbáland.
Baba never for one day ascribed himself to the Sunnah.
Even in Taqaaleed Jaahiliyyah Baba still spewed some horrendous things.
I doubt it if Baba even knew the difference between Tawheed Ma'rifah Wa Ithbaat and Tawheed Talab Wa Qasd (let's leave Uloohiyyah, Ruboobiyyah, Asmaa Wa Sifaat).
How did he use to see Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qayyim, Ibn Abdulwahhab?
Baba was a core Sufi Qadri Ash'ari. Can you say he was not? Please can you?
Baba's Da'wah is evident in his offsprings and khirreejoon of his markaz. They are the greatest marabouts and musicians of today.
Don't you see Jaqmal and Yeskinikan ni? What of Boda Habeeb Lagege?
You may not like your adversaries in Da'wah but justice demands that where they are right you acknowledge it or at least you don't go against them.
{ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوا۟ قَوَّ ٰمِینَ لِلَّهِ شُهَدَاۤءَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِۖ وَلَا یَجۡرِمَنَّكُمۡ شَنَـَٔانُ قَوۡمٍ عَلَىٰۤ أَلَّا تَعۡدِلُوا۟ۚ ٱعۡدِلُوا۟ هُوَ أَقۡرَبُ لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِیرُۢ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ }
Surah Al-Mâ'idah: 8
