There is no such thing as “Jāmiyyah” or “Madkhaliyyah” in reality.
These are nothing but names fabricated by the people of innovation and desires to malign certain foundational principles of the Sunnah through these labels, such as:
Rejecting division and discord.
Warning against the people of innovation and refuting them.
Adhering to listening and obedience (to the rulers), sticking to the Jamā‘ah, and abandoning rebellion and revolutions.
It is for the sake of these principles, and similar ones, that the partisan and misguided people invented these labels, in order to repel others from the truth and to distort it.
Every reformer may be afflicted with two deviant groups standing at opposite ends of misguidance:
A group that opposes him, shows enmity, and fabricates lies against him.
A group that exalts him excessively, and through their exaggeration, their corrupt speech and actions cause oppression and transgression. This then brings about criticism toward him and blame placed upon him, while he is innocent of such things. No soul bears the burden of another.
The principle concerning the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah is:
To love them, support them, avoid exaggerating about them, defend them, spread their good qualities, and refrain from mentioning their shortcomings. May Allāh have mercy on them all.
Every son of Ādam makes mistakes, and all people get things right and get things wrong.
O Allāh, have mercy on Shaykh Muhammad Amān al-Jāmī and Shaykh Rabee‘ ibn Hādī al-Madkhalī, elevate their rank in ‘Illiyyīn, and (have mercy on) all the scholars of the Muslims.
