Salmaan Al-Faarisee reported from the Messenger of Allaah - salallaahu alayhi wa sallam - that he said:

"Whoever takes a bath on the day of Jum'ah, purifies himself as much as possible, then applies oil (on his body) or applies some perfume, then sets out and does not separate between two persons (that might have preceded him to Jum'ah, and who are seated), then prays voluntary prayers as destined for him, then remains mute when the Imaam comes out; such will have his sins forgiven him between that Jum'ah and another."

Recorded by Al-Bukharee, Ahmad, Ad-Daarimee and others.
