Translation: Aboo Aamir Ishaaq b. AbdirRaheem
Setting out for Jum'ah as early as after Subh Prayer was a custom known with the Salaf.
Aboo Shaamah said: 'In the first century (of the Best Generations) the pathways would be filled with the people going to Jum'ah as early as they finished the Sub'h Prayer; there would be heavy traffic of the people towards the Main Masjid as if it was a Eid day. Later the custom disappeared such that it was said:
'The first bid'ah introduced in Islam was the act of abandoning going very early to Jum'ah.'
