Aboo Aamir
My actual 'abọde Makkah' is to write about Makkah and Madinah. Inshaa Allaah I would do so, I am presently trying to 'offload' some of the food I had in Makkah.
Wọn fẹ fi oúnjẹ ṣe wá lese, qaafilah tí wa ni o with Aboo Ubaidah, in Madinah then in Makkah.
I was invited to dinners in two different five-star hotels - Swisshotel and Marriot, they said I could go many rounds as much as I wanted. They almost killed my 'gluttonous' self.
There was a third dinner, I 'ran away' from that. I said: 'I didn't come to Makkah to eat o, don't kill me with food'.
Someone wanted to buy a meal of 64 Saudi riyaal for two of us, I quickly did some math 410 times 64 that's N26,000 worth. I told the baba to just pay for drinks while we took the remaining 'change' of about N24k to Hausa quarters where we bought just 20 riyaal worth of rice, salad and meat. We couldn't finish it even, three of us fa.
My people asked me when we landed in Lagos, what food they should prepare for me, I said they should let Makkah food of elaier days digest first. When I got home, they said my tommy portruded a bit. Wallahi na so.
My greatest joy was being in the haram at most times and benefitting from the halaqaat of scholars.
My supplications at the Ka'abah and repeatedly at the mataaf too plenty o. I made sure I didn't forget all those who sent prayers to me. By Allaah, we never left Saudi when we dey see the result. I brought many Islamic books fa. In fact I still get load back in Saudi.
A friend asked me to pray $500m dollar for him, I did so, then prayed $500b for myself. So if my money come tomorrow, and Inshaa Allaah it will come, this is the secret ó, I no do oogun owó o, na for Makkah I pray.
Take this a synopsis.
Makkah is sweet, Madinah is honey.
You will love it, Inshaa Allaah. Pray make this load for my belly quick digest.
Then please start saving for Umrah or Hajj, it is worth it.
Me self don start to save money, alotunlo ni Inshaa Allaah. I woke in the night of coming back to Nigeria wallah I was looking for one of the underground toilet facilities in haram to ease myself not knowing I was back in Ibadan.
