Aboo Hurairah reported from the Messenger of Allaah - salallaahu alahy wa sallam - that he said:
“The Hour shall not pass until wealth becomes surplus, tribulations spread and there is har'j." They asked: "What is har'j, O Messenger of Allaah?" He said: "Killing! Killing! Killing!" He said it three times.
Recorded by Ibn Maajah, hadith no: 4047. It is authentic.
Note: Wealth is coming but with much unjust shedding of the blood amid civil strife by actors who wiil be worst of the people upon whom the world will come to an end. Such wealth is not what should be desired eventhough people do not care.
