O brother, the apologist, who has made his Deen the delight of his foes those whom if he lays his life for they will not be pleased with him until he follows them to hell.
Your Lord asked us to inform you:
'Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you till you follow their religion...' Q2:120
So the next time those people tell you they like you know that you are already half way in misguidance.
O brother, please your Creator, just your Creator Alone. In fact, pleasing the creature is an unassailable goal. No two loving persons can absolutely please each other. Some mutual actions irritate while others are pleasing.
So, be a Muslim as it ought to. Live Islam, let Islam radiate in you. Be courageous to beat your chest for Islam.
You are the best Muslim when Islam suffices you as your pride.
'And who is better in speech than he who [says: “My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness),†and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah’s (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: “I am one of the Muslims.â€' Fussilat: 33
O brother, are you really proud to say 'I am a Muslim' wherever you are?
But why do you hide your identity in your office because of James's and Janet's? Why do you tell people you are 'Ọlá' while you are too shy to say you are 'Muhammad'? Don't you like to be like Muhammad in character?
You really need to fight this complex, my brother. Don't give in to that blackmail. 'The Muslims are this, the Muslims are that', that often demoralizes you. Muslims stand for uprightness and morality, the world is against this.
If you are not aware, O brother, we are the best of this world. This world remains 'manageable' as it is because there are those who still proclaim 'There is none worthy of worship but Allaah', those who command what is good and forbid what is evil.
'You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)] are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma’ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden), and you believe in Allah.' Aal-Imraan: 110
Don't you really like to be among the best of the people?
So stop being apologetic of your religion. Stop pandering to your foes. Stop giving excuses for Islam. Whatever Islam says is correct is correct and otherwise. Islam is a perfect entity. So an injury to your Deen is an injury to your soul.
Go out and learn about your Deen. Go and master the Qur'aan. Learn the Arabic, don't let them mislead you that it is not your mother tongue, English and French are neither.
Follow the examples of your Prophet. He is the only being you can emulate and you will get rewards for it. If you emulate Karl Marx, Barack Obama, Obafemi Awolowo, you will never get a dime of reward.
So be a walking Islam. Don't make us doubt it for a second when we see you that you are a Muslim.
Have a nice day, O brother. We are happy that you will never be apologetic of this worthy religion again.
