The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
"From the signs of the Last Hour is to seek knowledge from these minors"
Authenticated by Al-Imaam Al-Albaanee in Saheeh al-Jaami' no. 2207
Ibn Mas'ud - may Allaah be pleased - with him said:
"People will remain upon good as long as they take knowledge from their elders and from the trustworthy and from the scholars, but when they take it from their minors and evil ones they will be destroyed."

As-Silsilah as-Saheehah no. 2/310 of Al-Baanee who said the chain is authentic.
Ibn Mubaarak - may Allaah have mercy on him - was asked about a matter in the presence of Sufyaan Ibn 'Uyayna and he said:
"Verily, we have have been prohibited from talking in the presence of our elders."
