May Allaah preserve the son and the father upon goodness.

The mankind and jinkind were created because of Tawheed.
وما خلقت الجن والإنس إلا ليعبدون
I have not created the Jinn and humans except that they worship me.
The Call of the Prophets and Messengers of Allaah centered round it.
ولقد بعثنا في كل أمة رسولا أن اعبدوا الله
Indeed We had raised a Messenger for each nation with the command: Worship Allaah.
The first thing a person can enter Islam with is Tawheed. The first thing a caller can call to.
Therefore, Tawheed is the first tool with which a person's soul can become clean. Ash-Shirk - associating partners with Allaah - is the dirtiest thing that can come in contact with the human soul. Whoever therefore has established Tawheed in his heart, has achieved a permanent cleansing for his heart, and whoever allows any Shirk in, has allowed dirt into his soul.
Thus there is no Purification for the soul except Tawheed is allowed in, and it is only when the soul is cleansed from shirk that it will have rest and tranquility.
