WONDERS FROM THE SALAF
A man came to Al-Imaam Ahmad - may Allaah bestow mercy on him - and asked him about a matter of the Deen, after he was satisfied, the man said: 'May Allaah reward you best on behalf of Islam.'
Al-Imaam Ahmad - may Allaah bestow mercy on him - became furious and said: 'Who am I that Allaah should reward me best on behalf of Islaam? Allaah should rather be praised for my Islaam.'
