PRECIOUS WORDS
Abu Hurairah - may Allaah be pleased with him - reported from the Messenger of Allaah - sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam - that he said:
أحبب حبيبك هونا ما عسى أن يكون بغيضك يوما ما، وأبغض بغيضك هونا ما عسى أن يكون حبيبك يوما ما
'Love your friend with caution for he may be your foe in a particula day; hate your foe with caution, for he may be your friend in a particular day.'
Saheeh al-Jaami: 178.
