HE WOULD NOT RUFFLE THE SHEETS
Al-Imaam Ash-Shaafi'ee - rahmatullaah alahyi - said: 'I used to flip over the leaves of my book in a very silent way while I was in front of Maalik (taking knowledge from him) out of respect for him and lest he heard the sound of the ruffling of the sheets.'
