Ramadan Day Twenty-Nine
Levels of Guidance (7 and 8):  Al-Bayaan al-Khaas and al-Ismaa'

Al-Bayaan al-Khaas is quintessential al-Hidaayah al-Khaasah which means Special Grace.

So that goes with Inaayah (Protection), Tawfeeq (Granting Success) and Ijitibaa (Acceptance) by Allaah of His slave.

A person under this kind of guidance will have his heart cut off paths and spots of disgrace.

The Messenger of Allaah - sallallahu alayhi wa sallam - desired Guidance for his uncle, Abu Taalib, but Allaah never granted it. What Abu Taalib lacked therefore was the Special Grace from Allaah even though the proofs got to him.

That's that about that.

As for al-Ismaa' - being informed, this has three levels: using the ear to hear words of admonition, using the heart to digest it, and then accepting what is communicated.

This level underscores the importance of hearing in the matters of faith.

He that will be guided will hear things that will lead him to guidance and otherwise.

Thus he that hears what is good, digests it then applies it to his life is upon guidance.

The Kuffar of old and now used to hear admonitions but they would turn away from them.
