Quelling Another Suu-hu-Fahm from Ilorin

Warning: If the first paragraph of this piece makes no meaning to you, please move on.

(1)
In the evening of yesterday, there came another Suu-hu-Fahm (devilish understanding), tasaddur (chest beating), suu-hu adab (Ill-mannerism) from the arrowhead of Wanton Tabdee and Tajreeh in Ilorin, Brother AbdurRazzaq Abioye Hasan (a.k.a. Ejigbo).

Though he was tactically short of making tabdee of Dr Faadil for his another recent talk on Aqeedah and Manhaj but he described the doctor with all sorts of unprintable names such that one would wonder if he was talking to a toddler in knowledge.

This was Brother Abdurazaaq whom Shaykh Qamarudeen Yunus counselled him and his league of hasty and evil-manhajed comrades in indiscriminate tabdee and tajreeh to tread carefully in the issues of scholars in Yorubaland.

Brother Abdurazaaq would not listen to such counsel. He even displayed that arrogant attitude when he and his sure-partner in evil, Najeeb Abdulgaffar, made comments after the naseehah given by Shaykh Qamarudeen, and they blatantly shoved it aside in the name of boldness.

The history has taken notice of that.

So yesterday Abdurazaaq Ejigbo came out boldly to refute Dr Faadil on the talk he gave on Aqeedah and Manhaj some days ago.

There is no evil in refuting what one feels is wrong but the approach matters especially when a well respected teacher of Sunnah is involved.

This point is what Abdurazaaq Ejigbo and his gang have failed to come to terms with, and that is one of the greatest flaws in their manhaj.

Take note, I said their manhaj not their Aqeedah. That demarcation is the main theme of this piece.

(2)
It is that evil in their manhaj that Dr Faadil was trying to warn his students - khususan, and the Ummah, umooman, about.

Dr said his students, and the Ummah at large, should be wary of them when they come with the slogan 'manhaj', 'manhaj' that it is a trap to ensnare the unsuspecting Muslim youths.

Readers, was Dr Faadil wrong here?

Ejigbo and his gang know that Dr was right about them even though he didn't mention their names.

The Munaafiqoon in Madeenah used to think every cry was about them.

Dr Faadil has become a clog in their wheel so they must bring him down at all cost.

They failed to get him on the issue of correcting the rulers openly, we proved it to them that it was never his manhaj (take note of the usage of 'manhaj' here), he accepted it was a gaffe, he had come out to say the correct position.

When they failed in that, they rushed to the issue of his hugging Baba Daaru. We told them we could excuse him. He might not really know the man, and besides, Najeeb and Tanimola, who were championing the cause was too small for the task. He should involve the elders like Dr Sharaf.

They bolted away.

Everything is in history. Come two decades we shall still narrate it to them when the scales fall off their eyes. Inshaa Allaah the scales would fall unless they want to go into extinction.

One of their goons in Egypt came out about a day ago to mildly refute the Dr. We all felt 'well this one is trying to do like ọmọ ile keu.' His own case has always been amusing to me, this is someone studying at al-Azahar where almost all the teachers are Ashaairah. Did you get the message?

That's by the way. He sha tried like a gentle omo ile keu.

Then came the head, Oga Patapata, their World Best (alhamdulillah they have dropped that fake appellation) to deal with Dr Faadil.

AbdurRazzaq really proved his mettle. He yakayaka Dr Faadil.

Ejigbo, fear Allaah, don't let Allaah Yakayaka you.

Yes Dr Faadil said his own students should not fall for your evil manhaj. He said you might be shouting of manhaj, manhaj, that it is a trap.

I asked the readers, did the Dr tell a lie?

Ejigbo, hasn't one of you said recently that you might be on the same manhaj but he is not at home with your usloob?

We asked that one what is the difference between manhaj and usloob? Perhaps he will answer now.

The truth of the matter is, that fellow was trying to say that you may be on the same Aqeedah but he is not with you on your manhaj.

(3)
Now, is there a difference between Aqeedah and Manhaj? Scholars say yes. See the comments below. That resounding 'yes' should shut you up but agídí yín pò.

Yes, the Aqeedah and Manhaj are interwoven. One is a reflection of the other thus they are inseparable.

It is just like the difference and interwoveness between Islam and Eeman.

You remember idhajtama'a ikhtalafa...?

Otherwise saying there is no difference when mentioned together is a tatweel fil kalaam.

Shaykh Al-Albaani was asked if it is true to say someone can have Aqeedah of Salaf but Manhaj of Ikhwaan he said no. But he said he may have some of this and some of that. (See it in the comment section).

So it is possible to say some aspects of good Aqeedah as well as some aspects of good manhaj, and otherwise.

But a good manhaj is a reflection of good Aqeedah. Though Shaykh Fawzaan - hafidhahullaah said Manhaj is wider than Aqeedah.

The weightier one drags the other to its side.

Technically speaking virtually all of the scholars say Aqeedah boders on matters of creed such as belief in Allaah, His Names and Attributes, belief in Angels, belief in Qadar, belief in the Hereafter etc, while they say Manhaj is the syllabus (procedure) of implementing the aspects of Aqeedah. Shaykh Ubayd al-Jaabiree said that.

Once again both are interwoven.

Shaykh Rabee - hafidhahullaah - wrote 'Manhajul Anbiyaa Fee Da'wati Ilaa Allaah' ('The Syllabus of the Prophets in Calling to Allaah). In the book, Shaykh Rabee was just telling us the way the Prophets of Allaah used to do their Da'wah, starting from Tawheed.

In other words we can say the book is' 'Manhaj of Tawheed.'

The same way we can say there are 'Manhaj of Raising Children on Aqeedah of Salaf', 'Manhaj of Learning Aqeedah of the Salaf' 'Manhaj of the Salaf in Relating with the Rulers', 'Manhaj of the Salaf in Relating with the Heretics', etc.

So Dr Faadil saw the evil in your manhaj especially in the manner of your careless tabdee so he warned his students from it.

(4)
By Allaah, your manner of tabdee, Da'wah, and relating with the Muslims is unsalafee. You may be Salafee in other aspects of the manhaj but here you are faraway from it.

Sorry.

Tell where it is in the manhaj of Salaf that toddlers in learning like you and me can make tabdee of Muslims let alone their scholars? What happens to referring the matters to the elders?

Is it in the manhaj Salafee to table the matter of a respected scholar of Sunnah in the public?

Ejigbo, we want answers if you will not say again that I am foolish. I told you then otito oro bi isokuso ni (the truth is always bitter).

So it is from that angle Dr Faadil is warning from you, and he had been on that since he made that release on Jabata Phase Two (which hurts you till date). The content of that release shows that you have a shaky manhaj in the areas mentioned.

We will not say you are mubtadioon (we don't even have the right to, our elders like Dr Faadil has that right) since your Usool are still ostensibly fine. Can you see?

So Dr said his students should be wary of you when you shout 'manhaj', 'manhaj' that it is a good word with an evil intention behind it. That was why he mentioned the issue of Tawheed Al-Haakimiyyah which the Khawarij of Asr used to shout about.

O clear fà. What's wrong with your understanding, Ejigbo?

Then he advised his students to rather emphasize the word 'Aqeedah' which of course has included 'Manhaj' inherently to become safe from your evil.

So what's the fuss about?

Can you now say it is we that are not gbadun or you?
