Allâh the Mighty Lord said:
وَأَنَّ هَذَا صِرَاطِي مُسْتَقِيمًا فَاتَّبِعُوهُ وَلا تَتَّبِعُوا السُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَنْ سَبِيلِهِ ذَلِكُمْ وَصَّاكُمْ بِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
"And verily, this is My Straight Path, so follow it, and follow not (other) paths, for they will separate you away from His Path. This He has ordained for you that you may become pious." [al-an’aam: 153]
The Messenger of Allâh (salaLlâhu alayhi wa sallam) said:
تَرَكْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْبَيْضَاءِ لَيْلُهَا كَنَهَارِهَا لَا يَزِيغُ عَنْهَا بَعْدِي إِلَّا هَالِك
‘... I leave upon the Clear Path whose night is like its daytime; none will deviate from it except he that is doomed. . .’
Reported by Ibn Mâjah and others; declared to be authentic by Al-Allâmah al-Albânî in as-Sahîhah [2/648].
Al-Imâm Muhammad al-Hasan Al-Bar’baharî (may Allâh bestow mercy on him) said in Shar’hus-Sunnah:
‘Be aware that deviating from the path of Islam is in two ways: one of them is when a man deviates from the path but with a desire of truth (in his deviation), such will never be followed upon his deviation because he is destroyed. The other is he who antagonizes the truth and opposes those who have gone before him among the pious (scholars), such should be regarded as astray as well as leading others astray; he is also a block-headed devil for this Ummah. It is proper for whoever knows his affairs that he should warn the people (Muslims) about him, and that he reveal his matter to them lest someone should unknowingly fall into his heresies.’
I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allâh and that Muhammad is truly the slave and Messenger of Allâh.
Whomever Allâh guides is the one guided; whomever He leaves to stray none can guide.
O Allâh the Lord of the Mighty Throne we seek protection in You from all kinds of deviation; little or much.
To proceed:
Just as many Muslim brothers and sisters were trying via the social media to educate one another about the phenomenon of the Gregorian New Year celebrations; that is, its being antithetical to what Islam stands upon, there however came some apologists, some of whom are supposedly Muslims, bashing the Muslims who warned other Muslims from the celebrations.
Some of those apologists made their case mildly and Alhamdulillah Muslims who could explain things better explained to them and the matter rested.
But there was a young Muslim man who went beyond the limits in his defence of Kufr celebrations such that he made some horrendous statements about the faith which he professes.
The young man, whom we will still conceal his identity despite the calls otherwise, has remained defiant up to this moment; he arrogantly parades himself as the new voice for the liberal Muslims. Several efforts have been made in the past days to make him see the follies in his jaundiced submissions which he has been repeatedly told to be tantamount to unbelief in Islam. He has rather armed himself for a self-declared war against those whom he dubbed ‘religious robots.’
He wrote on 4th of January, 2013, ‘... I am expecting the card to be played by the scumbag who laid fatwa on me yesterday before I dissect his lunacy. These Neo-Salafists will be dished accordingly!!’
As you can see, he has made up his mind for a fight!
To quickly correct a notion, this effort of ours is never aimed at fighting the pompous lad rather to drag him by his skull back to the correct teachings of Islam because we are afraid, the rationalist youth has gone too far as you will later see.
Our Lord the Most High said:
وَقُلِ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيُؤْمِنْ وَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَكْفُرْ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ نَارًا أَحَاطَ بِهِمْ سُرَادِقُهَا وَإِنْ يَسْتَغِيثُوا يُغَاثُوا بِمَاءٍ كَالْمُهْلِ يَشْوِي الْوُجُوهَ بِئْسَ الشَّرَابُ وَسَاءَتْ مُرْتَفَقًا
‘And say: "the Truth is from your Lord." then whosoever wills, let him believe, and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve. Verily, we have prepared for the Zâlimûn (polytheists, wrong-doers, atheists, agnostics, etc.), a Fire whose walls will be surrounding them. And if they ask for help (relief, water, etc.) they will be granted water like boiling oil that will scald their faces. Terrible the drink, and an evil dwelling! [Kahf: 29].
So we tell him, it is left for you; make your decision.
We also like to let him know, as he promises to ‘dish us accordingly,’ that if it were our persons that he wants to fight, then we aannounce to the whole world that we are very weak, but if it were the truth of Qur’aan and Sunnah that he wants to fight, then let him prepare his arsenal.
وَرَدَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِغَيْظِهِمْ لَمْ يَنَالُوا خَيْرًا وَكَفَى اللَّهُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الْقِتَالَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ قَوِيًّا عَزِيزًا
And Allâh drove back those who disbelieved in their rage; they gained no advantage (booty, etc.). Allâh sufficed for the believers in the fighting (by sending against the disbelievers). And Allâh is ever AllStrong, AllMighty. [Ahzâb: 25]
If you also think that your new-found love, Philosophy, will aid you, as you like ‘stirring arguments,’ be rest assured that you will fail as those who came before you, who were better than you in Kalaam, failed. Go and know that we are not interested in arguing with you. You would observe that we have never done that with you. It is not because we do not know how to argue, go and find out, we also had some training in that field, we know it is not always the best because Islam says such is the path of those seeking destruction.
Those who engaged in argumentation yesterday were never benefitted by it. Those who did not repent among them perished with it while many others regretted they ever did so.
We wish you will regret it too before you die; that will better for you.
