So in the climax of his heresies, the lad wrote about the phenomenon of the new year, inter alia:
‘There is a need to stir that argument more vigorously to know there is no supremacist when it comes to religious ideology or belief system. I disagree with attaching supernaturality (sic) or spirituality with January 1st. Organizing prayers overnight all in the name of ushering a NEW YEAR or any other form of merry making is nothing but acts of frivolities. For the developing countries and their oppressed strata, it is a temporary and delusional happiness.
I also disagree with the over-sabi religious folks who say: 'Wishing Happy New Year is sinful'. Their argument is that January is used to worship a Roman idol called Janus.
Folks, check your history and let us do a bit of religious practice comparison, and see that hardly is any religion devoid of historical account that do not contain idolatory (sic) practices. Every religion (the main stream) came to claim it has reformed the idol worship, and introduced Monotheism. Just the two to stir the argument:
1. The circumnavigating (sic) of Kabba, and the early idol worshipers of Makkah. Any historical connection?
2. The knotting of the Hajj ritual garment and Spiritual garment wore on any inductee to Ifa Religion. Don't you know they are similar?
Let us be circumspect!!’
That was the comment he made on his Facebook wall on the second day of January, 2014.
While disagreeing with ‘over-sabi religious folks’ who say it is not correct to wish others a happy new year because they say the month of January is named after a Roman god, Janus; and while he could not prove otherwise, he rather went and hit them below the belt saying they should look inward too, Islam too is built upon idolatrous practices! We seek refuge in Allâh from that statement of Kufr.
So he brought just two posers; he has many with him, he just wanted to use those to ‘stir an argument.’ Fool.
He asked if there was no historical relationship between the circumambulating of the Ka’abah and the idolatrous practice of the Quraysh.
While the above apparently looks like a question from a completely ignorant person about Islâm, the second was an emphatic question: ‘The knotting of the Hajj ritual garment and Spiritual garment wore on any inductee to Ifa Religion. Don't you know they are similar?’
So he said and asked: ‘Don't you know they are similar?’
For those who do not know, in Yoruba culture, which the wretched youth belongs to, there are some people who promote the Ifa Traditional Worship which is a complete act of Shirk as far as Islâm is concerned. It is the habit of the priests in charge of this worship to wrap white cloths around their bosoms while other white cloths would be worn across the shoulders. The people of Ogboni Secret Society, mainly in Yoruba Land too, used to do that too.
That is the semblance drawn by the drowning lad!
He further buttressed that when he wrote later that:
‘What I have said is that all religions claim to reform the idolatory (sic) practice met on ground. These practices are not always completely abolished. Hence, to demonize a practice because it has a string of history with idol worshiping is self-deceit. This is what you are missing.’ He also wrote: ‘My major concern is not about copy-copy. Islam came to modify these practices and change their direction from polytheism to monotheism. Some of their practices are upheld, some are abolished. In this stance, those that are upheld are traceable to their origin. ’ Remember, O reader, that he asked those questions to make Muslims look inward. In other words, that is an analogy of ‘he who lives in a glass house should not throw stones.’ He wrote: ‘He who stays in glass house does not throw stones!! All religionists are dogmatic, it is a typical example of kettle calling pot black.’
We like to however tell him that he is a complete Jâhil – from head to toe. Had he studied the texts of Islâm accordingly, he would have known that he had laid a dangerous premise.
To his first question, Allâh the Mighty Lord said while speaking about Prophet Ibrahim [Abraham]:
وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنَا لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا وَطَهِّرْ بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْقَائِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ. وَأَذِّنْ فِي النَّاسِ بِالْحَجِّ يَأْتُوكَ رِجَالًا وَعَلَى كُلِّ ضَامِرٍ يَأْتِينَ مِنْ كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِيقٍ. لِيَشْهَدُوا مَنَافِعَ لَهُمْ وَيَذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ عَلَى مَا رَزَقَهُمْ مِنْ بَهِيمَةِ الْأَنْعَامِ فَكُلُوا مِنْهَا وَأَطْعِمُوا الْبَائِسَ الْفَقِيرَ. ثُمَّ لْيَقْضُوا تَفَثَهُمْ وَلْيُوفُوا نُذُورَهُمْ وَلْيَطَّوَّفُوا بِالْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ
And
(remember) when we showed Ibrâhim (Abraham) the site of the (Sacred)
House (the Ka’abah at Makkah) (saying): "Associate not anything (in
worship) with Me, [Lâ ilâha ill-Allâh (none has the right to be
worshipped but Allâh Islâmic Monotheism], and sanctify My House for
those who circumambulate it, and those who stand up for prayer, and
those who bow (submit themselves with humility and obedience to Allâh),
and make prostration (in prayer, etc.);"
And proclaim to mankind the Hajj (pilgrimage). They will come to you
on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every deep and
distant (wide) mountain highway (to perform Hajj).
That they may witness things that are of benefit to them (i.e. reward of
Hajj In the Hereafter, and also some worldly gain from trade, etc.),
and mention the Name of Allâh on appointed days (i.e. 10th, 11th, 12th,
and 13th Day of Dhul-Hijjâh), over the beast of cattle that He has
provided for them (for sacrifice) (at the time of their slaughtering by
saying: Bismillah, Wallâhu-Akbar, Allâhumma Minka Wa Ilaik). Then eat
thereof and feed therewith the poor who have a very hard time.
Then let them complete the prescribed duties (Manâsik of Hajj) for them,
and perform their vows, and circumambulate the Ancient House (the
Ka'bah at Makkah). [Hajj: 26-29].
The question to the impatient lad now is ‘which predated which – the Qurayshi circumambulation of the Ka’abah or the Command from Allâh to Ibraheem?’
Relax poor boy, the Qur’aan answers you:
إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِلْعَالَمِينَ. فِيهِ آَيَاتٌ بَيِّنَاتٌ مَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ كَانَ آَمِنًا وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ
Verily,
the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at Bakkah
(Makkah), full of blessing, and a guidance for Al-'Alamîn (the mankind
and jinns).
In it are manifest signs (for example), the Maqâm (place) of
Ibrâhim (Abraham); whosoever enters it, he attains security. And Hajj
(pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka'bah) is a duty that mankind owes
to Allâh, those who can afford the expenses (for one's conveyance,
provision and residence); and whoever disbelieves [i.e. denies Hajj
(pilgrimage to Makkah), then he is a disbeliever of Allâh], then Allâh
stands not in need of any of the 'Alamîn (mankind and jinns).
[Aal-Imraan: 96-97].
So you either repent to Allâh or remain on your warpath with Him. We shall see who will win!
As for his second question; the similitude he cited between the Ihraam and the cloth the Ifa priests worn around their body. The simple question we will ask him, which is also similar to the one asked earlier is: which predated which – the Ihraam or the Ifa Worship?
He will tell us the history of Ifa Worship as well as that of Hajj.
O you reader, there is no doubt as to the fact that the religion with Allâh, since the creation of the heavens and the earths, is islam.
إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ
Truly, the Religion with Allâh is Islâm... [Aal-Imraan: 19]
Ibn Abbâs (may Allâh be pleased with him) said: ‘There were ten centuries between Adam and Noah; all the people were upon Islâm.’ [See Kitaab Tawheed of Ash-Ashaykh Fauzaan p.7, Al-Haramayn Edition].
So the basis of every human being is Islâm. In other words, Islam came first others followed.
He must have now seen his folly when he wrote: ‘Again, Animism which is the universal traditional religion predates Islam. I mean Islam that establishes itself in the physical world, not the pre-creation extrapolation of 'Submission' as the meaning of Islam. It is this essence that Islam comes for, to abolish polytheism, and emphasize Monotheism.’
He also must have known that he gaffed when he wrote: ‘The word 'Allah' predates Islam -though without ma'rfa. It is the article 'the' that distinguishes, yet the origin is still there. No controversy.’
What he wrote in the above paragraph is just a philosophical blabbering devoid of meaning otherwise he would have known that there is no Arabic word transliterated as ‘mar’fa.’ He who lacks a thing cannot give it.
Is it now clear to you, O Young Leninist?
Hear the ‘great philosopher of our time:’ ‘Now, to say a truth is objective, you need to come forth with an instrument of truth validation that is generally acceptable, no matter your race, creed or belief. Tell me one if you have.’
O reader, lest you think that our Young Leninist of Africa only made a mistake regarding the above two posers; that he did not really intend them, we will remind you of what he wrote that he just brought the two to stir a argument, he wrote himself, ‘Just the two to stir the argument.’
So he has many other illusions in his tummy with which he can stir further arguments. You should know the Philosophers; they stir arguments and cause doubts about.
He did declare that that was his opinion: ‘The writer has simply put his opinion forward, it is neither compelled on anyone to believe. The third world country men can continue dining in delusion. It is a choice!’
Please observe this statement of his: ‘The third world country men can continue dining in delusion. It is a choice!’
Could you see that he sees himself as being ‘over educated’ above ‘the black monkeys of Africa?’ Just a Master’s Degree holder [last February in one of the universities of the Asian countries] and he makes this noise about what if he bags his pet Doctorate Degree, the whole of Africa will be in trouble, and when he becomes a Professor, the world would ‘sober.’
That is what philosophy teaches his ilk; that they have a superior power of reasoning over others! He does not know that ‘whoever relies on his intellect will perish.’
He looks at issues from the critical point of view; he wrote: ‘...let us go through this journey now. Let me see what to learn from you. Tell me in critical terms, what I posited in my penultimate comment that is erroneous with your counter-arguments.’
So we just have to make concerted efforts to make him stop his heresies.
