Typical of a delusional mind like Malik’s, he frantically searches for justifications for his chosen misguidance.
In the video, one could see him sweating profusely as he struggles to explain the reasons behind his misguidance.
He is now fixated on the Qur’ān, claiming that the Muslim belief in the Qur’ān’s infallibility is baseless.
Malik, it is the Qur’ān itself that challenges you to ponder over it, assuring that it will stand firm because it is a revelation from the One Perfect and Infinite in Knowledge.
> “Do they not then reflect upon the Qur'an? Had it been from other than Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.” (An-Nisā’ 4:82)
This is the Qur’ān’s own claim — and to this day, no one has been able to refute it.
Did you know the Qur’ān also challenged the Arabs to produce even a single verse like it? Till now, none has succeeded.
You can try too, Malik.
When Muslims refer to Qur’ānic verses that align with scientific facts, they are not trying to prove the Qur’ān using science. Rather, they use the Qur’ān to affirm the correctness of certain scientific truths.
Do you understand that?
The Qur’ān rules over science — not the other way around.
This may hurt you and your Christian friends, but that is an unchangeable reality.
The Qur’ān has always been a headache for evildoers. They have long wished it would cease to exist.
The sad news for them is that this Qur’ān is well preserved — both on scrolls and in hearts.
You fixated so much on:
> وَالسَّمَاءَ بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
“And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are expanding [its provisions].”
(Adh-Dhāriyāt 51:47)
You foolishly and ignorantly argued, “Why would Allah use such an expression when, according to you, a nominal sentence (jumlah ismiyyah) refers only to permanent occurrences?”
You are out of your mind. I told you to stop embarrassing your teachers. They did well, but you are a bad student.
What is the meaning of:
> وَقَالَ إِنِّي ذَاهِبٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ
You never learned balāghah (rhetoric) of the Qur’ān.
The Qur’ān is an ocean of knowledge; scholars swim in it endlessly without ever reaching its end. That is why we have numerous books of tafsīr, but not more than 3,000 as you exaggerated.
Each tafsīr has its own unique perspective — the perspective of Tafseer Qurtubee differs from that of Al-Baghawi.
You claimed we try to force the Qur’ān to say the earth is spherical by interpreting:
> وَالأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَاهَا
“And after that, He out the earth.”
Relax, young man. The verb دحا (dahā) carries many meanings.
The word دَحَاهَا means to spread out, flatten, or make suitable for habitation. It also implies preparing the earth with mountains, rivers, and provisions for life.
The Qur’ān describes the earth as it appears to the eyes: something spread out like a bed — yet it hints at its suspension by a gravitational force:
> 36. Exalted is He who created all pairs — from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know.
37. And a sign for them is the night. We remove from it [the light of] day, so they are [left] in darkness.
38. And the sun runs [on course] toward its stopping point. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing.
39. And the moon — We have determined for it phases, until it returns [appearing] like the old date stalk.
40. It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.
(Yā Sīn 36–40)
Pay attention.
One of your Christian friends claimed the Qur’ān says the sun sets in a muddy spring, referring to Dhul-Qarnayn’s westward journey.
This description matches what Dhul-Qarnayn physically saw on his journey. If you stand by the sea at sunset, it appears the sun sets into the water.
That is why we say the sun rises in the East and sets in the West — it is an observable phenomenon.
However, the fact remains that the Qur’ān says the sun moves on its orbit (falak).
Again, we do not use science to prove the Qur’ān right; rather, we use the Qur’ān to confirm or challenge science.
There are many scientific facts in the Qur’ān that only someone receiving divine revelation could have mentioned.
So, don’t destroy yourself over Islam. I saw your ranting about Muslims’ confidence in the Qur’ān and the growing number of people turning to Islam.
Don’t harm yourself. Allah promised that Islam will prevail over all other ideologies, thoughts, and religions.
Take heart — even if it hurts someone like you.
