Malik stated in his latest video that he had always had issues with Islam, even though he was born a Muslim. He backed this claim with videos he had made prior to his eventual apostasy—may Allah guide him back.
In one such video, he criticized Muslims for speaking out against a Yoruba film in which acts of sacrilege were committed against Islam. Specifically, actresses were dressed in jilbāb and niqāb while performing inappropriate roles. Malik claimed that Muslims were making too much noise about it.
According to him, since Muslims criticize other religions, it is only fair that other religions should be allowed to criticize Islam.
While this may seem logical at first glance, Malik failed to realize a crucial point: Muslims do indeed critique other religions and their doctrines, but they do so without defamation or blackmail.
Interfaith criticism has existed for centuries. Perhaps Malik is unaware of the historic debates between Ahmad Deedat and various Christian preachers—intellectual exchanges that were firm yet respectful.
Muslims, for example, would never insult Jesus Christ—peace be upon him. In fact, to do so is an act of disbelief in Islam.
We do not insult the Pope or the Archbishop of Canterbury. Malik, you are welcome to prove otherwise if you can.
When a Muslim points out errors or contradictions in the Bible, it is part of scholarly debate. Similarly, Christians often allege that there are “over 40 versions” of the Qur’an, and Muslims don't erupt in outrage—we calmly respond with clarifications and knowledge.
So, Malik, know that Islam has its red lines, just as Christianity does. And Muslims have always respected the red lines of Christians.
As for the Isese traditionalists, some among them have been downright vulgar. Everyone knows what Tanimola said that landed him in prison—he told blatant lies against specific individuals and failed to prove his claims in court.
If any Muslim lies against Christians or adherents of Isese, they too should be sued. No one is above the law.
So, Malik, do not attempt to stop Muslims from acting within their legal rights.
You admitted to having doubts about Islam from a young age—that is nifāq (hypocrisy), and it is worse than open disbelief (kufr).
Allah says that the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of Hell.
The Prophet ﷺ encountered people like you in Madinah—the likes of ‘Abdullah ibn Ubayy ibn Salūl as-Sadūsī. By Allah, he saw the Messenger ﷺ but never truly believed in his heart. He had his own circle too. We all know what they did during the Battle of Uhud.
The Qur’an exposed them for what they were—supporters of the Jews and the pagans, delighted whenever Muslims faced setbacks.
Allah says, “In their hearts is a disease, and Allah has increased them in disease.” (Qur’an 2:10)
SubhānAllah, Malik, that disease was in your heart too. But unlike some who seek a cure, you let it fester—until you landed where you are today.
You admitted to being a Sufi and Ash‘arī. That bloc has rarely produced firm conviction and sound belief—and you are a living proof of that. So are members of RMQK and similar groups, many of whom have lost their way.
It was that spiritual disease that led you to your current state. You had a sick heart and then found companions with similar illnesses—and the rest is history.
I am confident that you now have mentors—maybe not outright sponsors, but certainly handlers who are monitoring your “progress” in misguidance.
You claimed that all of us will eventually join you. Poor you.
Alhamdulillāh, it is Allah who has guided us, and we have never doubted Him or His Revelation.
Back in 2010, on Seun Osewa’s Nairaland forum in the Religion section, we encountered individuals far worse than you in misguidance—by Allah, they were all refuted and eventually silenced. The threads are still there as proof.
Allah guided us to Islam, and He continues to guide us every day. Inshā’Allah, we will die as Muslims.
As for the Christians praised in the Qur’an for being “humble and merciful,” they are not the ones who massacred Muslims during the Spanish Inquisition, or those who launched crusades in Jerusalem, or who sell bombs to Zionists to kill Muslims in Gaza.
They are not the ones who committed genocide against Jews in the Holocaust, nor those who slaughtered Muslims in Bosnia-Herzegovina, nor those who bombed Iraq, Afghanistan, or Sudan. Neither are they those who dropped nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The Qur’an is a book of wisdom and truth.
So, Malik, you have two options: either submit to the truth, or block me. Either way, Inshā’Allah, I hope to drag you back by your forelock to Islam.
