Being a part of a long explanation from one of the erudite scholars of Da'wah Salafiyyah, Ash-Shaykh Muhammad b. Hizaam (may Allaah preserve him), on the deviations and misguidance of Sayyid Qutub.

He also said in the Tafseer, In the Shade of the Qur'an, volume 3 page 1634:
"The Muslims today do not carry out Jihad and that is because Muslims do not exist today."!!!
This man had a deep seated ignorance if not, this is a universal takfeer which covers him and his group and everyone - but it shows that he wasn't a man of knowledge. He had no scale to measure the veracity of speech and he couldn't measure his own speech.
In his Tafseer of the meaning of Laa ilaaha illaa Llaah, so also in his Tafseer, az-Zilaal, Surah al-Qasas volume 5 p. 2707, he said:
Laa ilaaha illaa Llaah: it means there is no partner with him in creation and determination of affairs?!!!
This is the Tafseer of Laa ilaaha illaa Llaah according to Sayyid Qutb the Imam of Ikhwaan al-Muslimoon (the Muslim Brotherhood)!
In his book, al-Adaalah al-Ijtimaa'iyyah (Social Justice) page 182, he said in the Tafseer of Laa ilaaha illaa Llaah: it means there is no one that has right to rule except Allaah.
He explained (the statement of Shahaadah) with ar-Ruboobiyyah alone: creation is for Allaah alone, Allaah is the Creator no other person, He is the Disposer of affairs and no other person, He is the Ruler and no other person.
Our young ones know the meaning of Laa ilaaha illaa Llaah better than Sayyid Qutb: that it is: there is none worthy of true worship except Allaah and anything worshipped other than Allaah is false worship.
And from his misguidance is propagating freedom of Creed.
In his book, Diraasaat Islaamiyyah (Islamic Studies) page 13, he said "The Taaghut of religious bigotry has indeed been broken to rise in place of it absolute tolerance; rather, for the defence of freedom of creed and freedom of worship to become an obligation mandated on Muslims toward people of other religions in Islamic countries!!!
He said this using as proof the statement of Allaah: "There is no compulsion in religion" Q 2 : 256.
And the Statement of the Most High:
"And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them entirely. Then, (O Muhammad) would you compel the people in order that they become believers." Q 10:99
The man has a lot of contradictions - in some places he would say Islamic country and in another place he would say there is no Muslim society!!! He was bereft of knowledge and he did not verify his statements (to make them consistent). He was just like a newspaper columnist whatever came to his mind he would write. I don't know why people glorify this man. He was not knowledgeable and they keep glorifying his book of Tafseer, In the Shade of the Qur'an, sharing it for free while it is filled with this (wrong) method of rendering the exegesis of the Qur'an. You could turn several pages and find no Hadeeth. It is merely (filled with) philosophy.
This statement of his is false and his citing of the word of Allaah"No compulsion in religion" is false.
The inference from the Word of Allaah the Most High: "There is no compulsion in religion."
It has preceded that the meaning is that the Kuffaar are to be fought till they give Jizya willing while they are humbled, implying that if he pays Jizya he is entitled to what comes as benefit of paying Jizya in accordance to the word of Allaah:
"Fight against those who do not believe in Allaah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allaah and His Messanger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth (I.e.Islam) from those who were given the Scripture- [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled". Q9:29
This verse explains the verse: "No compulsion in religion."
Meaning that they are to be fought and spited even if when Jizya is to be collected from them it is collected while they are humbled and they are given conditions that make them inferior. The rites of false worship are not be promoted - this in other places apart from the Arab pennisula.
As for the Arab pennisula, nothing is accepted there except Islaam after the demise of the Prophet - sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam . The Prophet - sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam - had said:
"Send the Jews and Christians away from the Arab pennisula."
He also said:
"Two religions cannot coexist in the Arab pennisula."
This is the rule after his death - sallallaahu alahyi wa sallam. In other places than the Arab pennisula they are made to pay Jizyah while they are humbled.
