Oodua (or Oduduwa) is the acclaimed progenitor of the tribe, Yoruba. He was believed to be a deity who came to earth via a long chain from the Heaven, So from his lineage line is Oodua atwon r (Oodua, the one that came to the earth via chain).

This is a legend with no basis, it is devoid of chain of transmitters, it even sounds nonsensical to a sensible individual.

Thus Muslims are obliged to disregard and disbelieve in it outrightly, otherwise it is tantamount to rendering the verses of Quran void.

O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever an All-Watcher over you.(an Nisaa:1).

So Nabiyy Aadam is unanimously called Abool Bashar (The Father of Mankind) and Yoruba is surely inclusive. While Nabiyy Nooh is Abool Bashar Ath-Thaaniyy (The Second Father of Mankind), because it is believed that, after the drown of his people, nobody remained on earth except his offspring. Allaah knows best.
