Bismillaahir Rahmanir Raheem
All praise to Allaah the Protector of the righteous, there is no offensiveness but upon the transgressors.
I bear the testimony that there is none worthy of worship but Allaah and that Muhammad is His slave and messenger.
To proceed:
Our Lord the Mighty told the Best of Mankind – salallaahu alahyi wa sallam – after series of insults at his person:
Ø®Ùذ٠ٱلۡعَÙÛ¡ÙˆÙŽ ÙˆÙŽØ£Û¡Ù…Ùرۡ بÙٱلۡعÙرۡÙ٠وَأَعۡرÙضۡ عَن٠ٱلۡجَٰهÙÙ„Ùينَ
Take pardon, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant. [Al-‘Araaf; 199]
We have the best example in the Messenger of Allaah – salallaahu alahyi wa sallam – for us.
However, a demarcation is necessary here. Any insult on any Muslim should not be treated as the same as the insult on the person of the Messenger of Allaah or the symbols of Islam. The dagger is drawn against whoever insults the Messenger of Allaah – salallaahu alahyi wa sallam – but not anybody else apart from him.
There is a difference of opinions with the scholars of the Deen whether insulting any of the Companions is Kufr or not. The best of views, Allaah knows best, as said by Al-Alaamah ‘Alee bn Sultaan Muhammad Al-Qaaree [popularly referred to as ‘Mullah Alee Qaaree’ in circles of knowledge (d.1014 A.H.)], may Allaah bestow mercy on him, is that no.
He – rahimahullaah - said:
‘As for whoever insults any of the Companions, such is a sinner and innovator by consensus.’ See Shamm Al-Awaarid Fee Dhamm Ar-Rawaafid p.62 [Edition of Ad-Daar al-Athariyyah].
The least that can be said when a Muslim is insulted is that the insulter is a sinner.
For the above reason, brothers and sisters should throw sentiments apart. Aboo Aamir can be insulted, he can be soiled, he can be abused, and he can even be cursed but don’t take it cool when the Prophet – salallaahu alahyi wa sallam – or any of symbols of Islam is insulted.
If Aboo Aamir merits those insults, soiling, abuse and curses (of course, he can't be free from all blames when he is not an angel), ask Allaah to pardon him, if not, leave him and his insulters, soilers, abusers and cursers with their Lord on the Day of Resurrection. They will settle it there, Inshaa Allaah.
Ø¥Ùنَّكَ مَيّÙتٞ ÙˆÙŽØ¥ÙنَّهÙÙ… مَّيّÙتÙونَ
Ø«Ùمَّ Ø¥ÙنَّكÙÙ…Û¡ ÙŠÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ ٱلۡقÙيَٰمَة٠عÙندَ رَبّÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ تَخۡتَصÙÙ…Ùونَ
Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die.
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute. [Az-Zumar: 30-31]
I am going to die, they are going to die and we will settle the dispute before Allaah, al-Aleem al- Hakeem.
But is it new that someone is unjustly called insane, crazy and a liar? The Messenger of Allaah – salallaahu alahyi wa sallam – was so dubbed for many years in Makkah and he came out clean eventually.
ÙَذَكّÙرْ Ùَمَا أَنتَ بÙÙ†Ùعْمَة٠رَبّÙÙƒÙŽ بÙكَاهÙن٠وَلا مَجْنÙونÙ
أَمْ ÙŠÙŽÙ‚ÙولÙونَ شَاعÙرٌ نَّتَرَبَّص٠بÙه٠رَيْبَ الْمَنÙونÙ
So remind [O Muhammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman.
Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?"
Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." [At-Tuur: 29-31]
So was the Messenger of Allaah - sallaallahu alahyi wa sallam - really insane, a liar or a poet?
People will call you names when they cannot comprehend the message you are passing across. And often times, they will take you as an enemy.
جهلت Ùعاديت العلوم وأهلها كدلك يعادي العلم من هو جاهل
‘You lack knowledge so you take knowledge and its people as foes so will he who lacks knowledge take it as a foe’
[Adab ad-Dunya Wad Deen p. 34]
Had he been a bit patient and really sought knowledge from its people, he would not have made such an effrontery. The problem now is will he realize that he is taking a dangerous path or will he continue to be deceived by the hailings of people like him?
The other reason you should not fret over his diatribe is because he is just coming out of kufr – Christianity. You know in Christianity everybody speaks. And the Christians are usually known as people deep in ignorance.
Allaah calls them Ad-Daaloon in the Qur’aan.
So our brother – because alhamdulillaah he is now a Muslim albeit with a crooked understanding – still has some after-effects of dalaalaat and jaahiliyyaat of Christianity in him.
The Messenger of Allaah – salallaahu alayhi wa sallaam – did tell Abu Dharr al-Ghifaaree – radiyaLlahu an’hu – when the latter once insulted the mother of another person:
يا أبا ذر ! إنك امرؤ Ùيك جاهلية
‘O Abu Dharr, you are a person that has Jaahiliyah in him.’ [Saheeh Al-Jaami: 7822]
During the time of the Messenger of Allaah – salallaahu alayhi wa sallaam, it was a common practice that those who newly accepted Islam were often and circumstantially referred to as ‘people who newly left Kufr.’
قوم Øدثاء عهد بالكÙر
Hadeeth of Dhaat An’waat is instructive here. Only students of knowledge will comprehend what I am saying here.
ÙŠÙؤۡتÙÙŠ ٱلۡØÙÙƒÛ¡Ù…ÙŽØ©ÙŽ Ù…ÙŽÙ† يَشَآءÙÛš ÙˆÙŽÙ…ÙŽÙ† ÙŠÙؤۡتَ ٱلۡØÙÙƒÛ¡Ù…ÙŽØ©ÙŽ Ùَقَدۡ Ø£ÙوتÙÙŠÙŽ خَيۡرٗا ÙƒÙŽØ«Ùيرٗاۗ وَمَا يَذَّكَّر٠إÙلَّآ Ø£ÙوْلÙواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبÙ
He gives wisdom to whom He wills, and whoever has been given wisdom has certainly been given much good. And none will remember except those of understanding.
[Al-Bararah: 269]
If you notice the way he was gesticulating in the video he uploaded to Youtube, you would have ordinarily passed him a monk just graduating from one of the catholic seminaries. He just needed a white collar around his neck to make him so completely. May Allaah save him from going back to Kufr.
No hamdlah (at inception), no basmalah, no Aayah, no hadeeth. He was just talking like a new Bible student who lost his Bible. May Allaah save him and me from kufr.
Let me cite just a babbling of him in his video:
‘He (Aboo Aamir) is ignorant because he has knowledge that makes him to be an extremist.’
Please judge his temperament yourself.
Please don’t blame him, that was the kind of training he received having left Christianity.
Lest some people think I am spiting our genuine brothers and sisters who were former Christians and who are now Muslims, never. But I am spiting a former Christian who does not stay within his limits.
My dear reverts, please stay within your limits. Learn your new faith accordingly and you will remain forever honourable.
He was being careful not to hurt Salafiyyah because he had an agenda. Aboo Aamir was the one that hurt him and his goons for writing about a fellow that once despised the Saudi scholars. That exposes his Ikhwaanee leaning. So it was not surpassing when the likes of Ogunkoya and other Ikhwaanee guys liked his post about Aboo Aamir on Facebook.
Yes, he was being careful to abuse Salafiyyah. One thing from that is that Da’wah Salafiyyah has become a thorn in their flesh.
He also mounted a subtle attack against the article I wrote about the Bible warriors who do not prioritize the knowledge of Islam (a clear example of which he has shown in himself). That’s his actual target. He is till pained that their hizb was criticized then, I think about four years ago or so. I don’t think I can help him and his pay masters out of their pain. Hope they are better now. Hope they don’t still disturb the sleepers with their late night noise.
So the story of the Niqaabi Cobbler is a smokescreen and an avenue for him to launch a revenge attack at Aboo Aamir. And he failed. By now, he would have realized how erroneous he was.
Let’s leave that.
He also wants to make me a Jabatee by fire by force. Jabata that I wrote a series of rejoinders against on this platform several years ago. Jabata whom his boys were ready to kill me then when their master was exposed.
Anyway I was expecting that from him, he did ask me in the call he made to me if I actually made takfeer (unjust excommunication of a person from Islam) of a certain blood brother of mine. That was the lie he was fed with which he wanted to use to nail me. Despite letting him know in the call that that I never did so and I would never do so, he still went ahead to group me with Jabata. Ko buru.
He should however know:
ÙˆÙŽÙ„Ùلَّه٠ٱلۡعÙزَّة٠وَلÙرَسÙولÙÙ‡ÙÛ¦ ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙÙ„Û¡Ù…ÙؤۡمÙÙ†Ùينَ وَلَٰكÙنَّ ٱلۡمÙÙ†ÙŽÙ°ÙÙÙ‚Ùينَ لَا يَعۡلَمÙونَ
“And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.†[Munaafiqoon: 8]
