قال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية رØمه الله: "وإذا كان الأمر بالمعرو٠والنهي عن المنكر من أعظم الواجبات أو المستØبات، لا بد أن تكون المصلØØ© Ùيها راجØØ© على المÙسدة، إذ بهذا بعثت الرسل، ونزلت الكتب، والله لا ÙŠØب الÙساد، بل كان ما أمر الله به هو الصلاØ

Shaykh-ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah - rahimahullaah - said: 'Since it is known that commanding goodness and forbidding evil is from the greatest obligations or recommendations, the (public) benefits thereof must sepercede the evil consequences. This is what the Messengers were sent with and the reasons the books were revealed. Allaah does not love corruption rather what He commands is goodness.'
