Don't Be Like the Rawaafid
Nūniyyah al-Qaḥṭānī, Line 188 to 191
١٨٨
لَا تَرْكَنَنَّ إِلَى الرَّوَافِضِ إِنَّهُمْ//
شَتَمُوا الصَّحَابَةَ دُونَ مَا بُرْهَانِ
١٨٩
لَعَنُوا كَمَا بَغَضُوا صَحَابَةَ أَحْمَدٍ//
وَوِدَادُهُمْ فَرْضٌ عَلَى الإِنْسَانِ
١٩٠
حُبُّ الصَّحَابَةِ وَالقَرَابَةِ سُنَّةٌ//
أُلْقِي بِهَا رَبِّي إِذَا أَحْيَانِي
١٩١
احْذَرْ عِقَابَ اللهِ وَارْجُ ثَوَابَهُ//
حَتَّى تَكُونَ كَمَنْ لَهُ قَلْبَانِ
188 – Never incline towards the Rawaafid, for they reviled the Companions without any proof.
189 – They cursed them just as they hated the Companions of Aḥmad (ﷺ), though loving them is obligatory upon mankind.
190 – Loving the Companions and the Prophet’s family is a Sunnah by which I will meet my Lord if He grants me life.
191 – Fear Allah’s punishment and hope for His reward, until you become like one with two hearts.
