In the Name of Allaah The Most Gracious The Most Beneficent
Everyone wants to get connubial to have a feel of what the noble Prophet (alayhi Salaam) has said of the good enjoyment of this world, they tend to forsake the basic ingredient of marriage that fetches this coveted virtue.

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (May Allah be pleased with them) reported:' The Messenger of Allah (alayhi Salaam) said,

"The world is but a (quick passing) enjoyment; and the best enjoyment of the world is a pious and virtuous woman"._ [Muslim].

Although, beauty -- like other features of a woman -- can be a source of attraction, whereby a man gets attracted to her due to her pulchritude; that should noy be the basis of his love for her. Otherwise, as she grows of age and her beauty diminishes, his love for her dwindles accordingly.

The Prophet (alayhi Salaam) said;

"A woman is married for four things: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty or for her piety. Select the pious, may your hand hit the good!"_ [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

The tradition above betokens that, of all the criteria for choosing a woman, piety is the only one that can guarantee blessing in the eventual matrimony. It is such then that a man must make this quality his priority if he truly wants his woman to be a source of comfort.

Piety encompasses every good virtue from worship to compassion, kindness, contentment, patience, humility, trustworthiness etc. A love built on all these virtues is the true love for the sake of ALLÃH. Such type of love lasts longer as it helps to fasten the nuptial knot.
