A first class student who decided to embrace the pristine Islam .
She was very brilliant, humble, and above all, very religious - we don't praise her above Allaah. He knows her better and is to bring her to account.
She was a good child to her parents and a submissive wife to her husband, a lovely mother to her kids.
She died 13th day of Ramadan, 1445AH. May Allaah be merciful to her.
A first class graduate of Medical Sociology at the undergraduate level, distinction at the MSc level who never lagged in the pursuit of the knowledge of the Deen upon the Sunnah.
We have lost a gem. O Allaah we are grieved about her.
Despite her level in class, department and faculty she decided to be submissive to Allaah and His Prophet - sallallahu alayhi wa sallam - when wearing Hijab was like grabbing the burning coal on OAU campus.
I and Pelawi, Akintayo Ismaeel, were invited to talk to her father who was working in Abuja and an administrator per excellent, as regards marrying his daughter to a brother who had shown interest to seek her hand in marriage.
This father gave good education to her daughter who was a twin but the second one wasn't alive again.
I tried to meet him whenever he came home from Abuja then.
Fortunately, this good father welcomed us and we explained our mission.
We were told to come back which we did after he came from Abuja.
Despite all the odds, this qualified administrator father in Abuja granted the request and since then he became a friendly father-in-law and a mentor .
Hmmmm, when I heard about the death of this committed, religious, gentle and ease going Mujeedah Kehinde Lawal yesterday who died in labour, the first thing that came to my mind was her father.......Unfortunately, I was told he had died 3 to 4 years....Subhanallah, I was dumbfounded then I started praying for all the dead Muslims.
This unique father is no longer alive while his special daughter is no longer alive too but left 3 children, husband and a mother......hmmm
O Lord Allaah, the Lord of the worlds......Forgive Mujeedah Kehinde Lawal a sunnatic sister and submissive wife.
O Allaah forgive her father who allowed his daughter to follow the Sunnah of Allaah and His prophet without knowing she won't stay long on earth!
O Allaah the Creator of all that exists.....Forgive the dead Muslims, male and female, old and young regardless of the tribe and colour.
Allow your children to follow Allaah and His prophet because everything would end one day.
May Allaah overlook her shortcomings.
